Saurashtra Cricket Association’s prestigious T20 Tournament Saurashtra Premier League (SPL)’s Season Two is to be played from 2nd June to 11th June 2022.
Five teams, Halar Heroes, Zalawad Royals, Kutch Warriors, Gohilwad Gladiators and Sorath Lions shall participate in SPL Season Two.
Shri Harshbhai Sanghvi, Hon’ble Home Minister of State & Hon’ble Minister of State for Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Gujarat shall grace the occasion as Chief Guest of Opening Ceremony & Opening Match of Saurashtra Premier League T20 Tournament Season Two on 2nd June 2022. The function of opening ceremony shall start from 5:45 p.m. onwards at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium.
Mr. Jaydev Shah, President of Saurashtra Cricket Association expressed, “We feel much elated as second season of Saurashtra Premier League (SPL) to be played from 2nd June to 11th June 2022 at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. This tournament is much beneficial for promotion of Cricket in the region and also for players of Saurashtra for T20 format. After completion of mega successful IPL 2022, SPL Season Two shall bring immense excitement and exceptional Cricketing moments. During the challenging period of Pandemic, Saurashtra Cricket Association managed good Cricketing activities of various tournaments, camps etc. SPL Season Two shall bring back Cricket Lovers to their favourite Stadium. I am very confident in success of SPL, largely to the benefits of Saurashtra-Kutch good talented players of having exceptional experience and exposure to most popular format of Cricket.”

All matches of SPL Season Two shall be played at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. There shall be free entry to all Cricket loving spectators.

Ansh Gosai, Raxit Mehta and Aum Kanabar shall play the tournament till 6th June 2022 as they are selected for BCCI/NCA selection matches of Under 19 Team India Team that will be played from 8th June 2022 at Pondicherry.
Matches shall be live telecast on Star Sports and on digital platform by VU Sport.
Prominent Cricket talents Pragyan Ojha, Charu Sharma, Saba Karim, Ajay Mehra and Johnny Barran shall be commentators of the tournament.
