Saurashtra Cricket Association heartily felicitated Jaydev Unadkat today for capturing 300 wickets in First Class Cricket. President of Saurashtra Cricket Association Jaydev Shah in presence of teams of Saurashtra & Mumbai as well as match officials, Shri Mahendra Rajdev and other dignitaries felicitated Jaydev Unadkat before start of Ranji Trophy match between Saurashtra vs Mumbai.
Talented Saurashtrian Jaydev Unadkat has continued giving outstanding and remarkable performances. And he has truly represented Saurshtra playing all domestic tournaments of BCCI from Saurashtra.
Born 18th October 1991 at Porbandar, Jaydev Unadkat is left arm fast Medium Pacer. Jaydev made his debut in Ranji Trophy in 2010-11 in Saurashtra vs Mumbai match. He captured 100 wickets in First Class cricket during season 2013-14 in Ranji Trophy match of Saurashtra vs Madhya Pradesh. He reached milestone of 200 wickets in Ranji Trophy season 2017-18 in the match of Saurashtra vs Gujarat played at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Jaydev Unadkat reached milestone of 300 wickets when he claimed his 12th wicket of the match in Ranji Trophy 2019-20 Baroda vs Saurashtra played at Vadodara. Four times Jaydev has claimed 10+ wickets in a match. 17 times he has five+ wickets haul in an innings in first class cricket.
Jaydev’s performance in IPL has been remarkable. He is first ever bowler to bowl a triple wicket maiden in the final over. He has taken hat-trick in IPL 2017. Jaydev has played all popular formats of Cricket, be it Test, ODI, T20, IPL or all important domestic tournaments of BCCI. So far he has played 1 Test Match, 7 One Day International, 10 T20 International, 85 First Class Matches, 94 List A matches, 73 IPL matches.
