And one must say what a win..

As they say "Character lies in bouncing back from ridiculously disastrous situations and do something, people say - you can't."

When Saurashtra was going in to the last 2 games of the Ranji Trophy league phase, nobody gave the team any chance. And everybody thought Saurashtra will be relegated to Group- C.

Karnataka (top of the table) and Delhi (knock out aspirant) the two mighty teams must also be thinking of taking full points against this Saurashtra team.

But one could feel the sense of hurt, frustration and disappointment in the members of this Saurashtra team, wanting to prove a point and establish the pride back in to its place, by doing something spectacular in last two games.

With team being in transition and some new faces making it to the team for first time, it was believed to be even more difficult for some miracle to happen.

But the team under the experienced Skipper Jaydev Shah in charge, believed in unbelievable. Kotak, the coach being always setting standard high wanted this team excel too.

And guess what!!! Not only the old horses made a difference but the new faces also contributed big and made in count.

Firstly Saurashtra defeated the Karnataka team in Patiala and surprised the entire freternity.
Then in a nail biting finish against Delhi and that too after being bowled out for merely 92 in first innings, this team turned the game on its head by not only batting exceptionally well in the 2nd innings but also by bowling & fielding truelly well and winning the game by 4 runs... What a game!!!

Great performances by Kishan Parmar, Shaurya Sanandia, Jaydev Unadkat, Prerak Mankad, Krushang Patel, Arpit Vasavda and whole team.

And one must say what a win..!!!
Well done Boys....we didn't have the best of the start of the season nor the best of the season, but you guys proved your worth in the end and made us proud.
