Saurashtra Cricket Association’s Parimatch News SPL T20 Tournament Season Two being played.
SPL Season 2 match between Halar Heroes vs Sorath Lions played at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium from 7:00 p.m. onwards.
Sorath Lions won the toss and opted to Bat. Sorath Lions scored 155 runs for loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Chirag Pathak scored 36 in 37 balls. Abrar Shaikh scored 33 runs in 25 balls with 3 fours and a six. Tarang Gohel scored 28 in 21 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes. Arpit Vasavada took 3 wickets in 3 overs giving 18 runs. Sunil Yadav took 2 wickets in 4 overs giving 24 runs. Navneet Vora and Dharmendrasinh Jadeja took 1 wicket each.
Having target of 156 runs to win, Halar Heroes scored 157 runs by loss of 6 wickets in 19 overs. Aryandevsinh Jhala scored 52 runs in 42 balls with 8 fours. Path Chauhan scored 30 runs not out in 21 balls with 3 fours. Hitendra Jadeja scored 29 not out in 15 balls with 5 fours. Chirag Jani took 2 wickets in 4 overs giving 24 runs.
Halar Heroes won the match by 4 wickets.
Aranyadevsinh Jhala was declared Man of the Match. Municipal Commissioner of Rajkot Shri Amitbhai Arora presented Man of the Match cheque to Aranyadevsinh Jhala.
