Dr. Arjunsinh Rana is Manager for Ranji Trophy team of Saurashtra. Dr. Rana has been associated with Saurashtra Cricket Association since 23 years. He has also been appointed as Sports Physiotherapist and trainer with the National Cricket Academy, Banglore from the very first day of its establishment by BCCI. He has closely worked with Rodney Marsh, Andrew Leipus, John Wright and various international Coaches & experts of Cricket. BCCI had sent him to Australia for an Learning Exchange Program where he presented his view for the improvement of Fitness Training in cricket. There he worked with renowned cricketers like Michael Clark, Shane Watson, Brett Lee etc.

He has been the Sports Physiotherapist and Trainer of Senior Indian Cricket team as well as India Under – 19, & India – A cricket teams also for many years and had a great experience with few ICC Under 19 world Cups with our India youth teams. During this time and his association with Saurashtra Cricket Association, he has had opportunities to train and work with renowned cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Venkatesh Prasad, Srinath, Anil Kumble, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Kaif, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Parthiv Patel, Cheteshwar Poojara etc.

Dr Arjunsinh Rana, is recently honoured with Doctorate – PhD in the Sports Management. The title of his research is “A Comparative Study of Leadership Style viz-a-viz Motivation Effect of Indian Cricket Team Captains (In Special Reference to Test Cricket Formation at an International Level)”.
