Criticising or maligning any person or institute without ascertaining factual position is indeed undesirable and is certainly not a freedom of expression in its true perspective.
It is rightly and reasonably expected from free and fearless media that any sensitive issue or a hoax initiated by any one is not followed by others without finding out the facts.
