Dharmendrasinh Aniruddhsinh Jadeja, popularly known as Dharmendra Jadeja is one of the most reliable slow left arm orthodox spinner of Team Saurashtra. From Saurashtra, he is the fastest 100 wickets claimer. In Just 27 Ranji Trophy matches he claimed 100 wickets, surpassing Nyalchand Shah who took 100 wickets in 29 matches.

Dharmendra’s debut was in 2012 against Madhya Pradesh. On debut match itself Dharmendra claimed 3 wickets in first innings and 6 in second! So far, Dharmendra has achieved twice 10 wickets haul and 6 times 5 wickets haul in first class matches.

 

Not only with bowl, as and when required, Dhramendra has also contributed well with bat. He is agile fielder too.

Calm and composed, focused and dedicated, that’s what Dharmendra as Cricketer is. He is fantastic team member with very good spirit of teamwork. Dharmendra is friendly and humble human being.
Dharmendra was born on 4th August 1990 at Nana Mova, Rajkot, His childhood has been quite joyful and he grew up playing Cricket. Dharmendra has had passion for Cricket since his childhood days. He is from reputable family background. For his passion of Cricket, his family has been very supportive to him. In his words, “I feel myself to be very fortunate for having such loving and caring family members. They are my support system and they always give me strength and courage. They have provided me with all basic requirements to support the development of my Cricket career. They have provided me with pair of wicket and a bowling machine to enrich my game. My father has shaped me into a good cricketer as well as better person.” His father is main source of inspiration for him.

His role model is Sachin Tendulkar. He adds that Sachin is God of Cricket; his passion, dedication and love towards Cricket is unmatchable.
His favourite cricketers are Ravindra Jadeja and Rangana Herath.

He says that it has been wonderful experience playing with Team Saurashtra. “I tried my best to support and motivate my team in all possible way I can, and with the support and effort of entire team we have managed to reach Ranji Trophy finals twice.” He adds.

He has been having keen interest towards Cricket since childhood. His school helped him to get admission in coaching camps, where he started his cricketing career professionally. His Cricketing talent was well observed by Junior Team selectors. Once Dharmendra was selected, he never looked back.

Cricket has taught many good lessons of life to Dharmendra. The best lesson he learnt was never to change positive attitude and humble nature in every walk of life.
Other than Cricket, Dharmendra likes to play football to keep him fit.

His mantra of relaxation is to spend quality time with his family and close friends. He also like to spend peaceful moments at his Farm House. Dharmendra enjoys playing Garbas and chilling out with his friends.

His favourite and inspirational movie has been “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag”. His favourite Singer is Arijit Singh, favourite Actor Ranveer Singh and favourite actresses Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma. He loves Maldives as favourite place to visit.
