In the world of Domestic Cricket of India, Arpit’s name is more known as Mr. Dependable. He is dedicated, focused and talented. He works hard and devotes all his energy and talent to Cricket.

Arpit is Rajkotian, born on 25th October 1988. He was quiet and sober child and that still reflects today in his personality. He comes from Nagar family. His father is dedicated Railway employee and mother is house wife. In days of his childhood, his favourite games other than Cricket were video games like Mario, Contra, Turtle etc.

It was his father who in very early age of Arpit saw hidden talent of Cricket. Vyomeshbhai, Arpit’s father, every morning since Arpit was a child woke him up for practice and lovingly but firmly encouraged Arpit to become dedicated Cricketer. And of course his mother took care of all his requirements of nourishments and loving care.

Father of Arpit’s friend's was a friend of Bipin Pujara. During one of summer camps he went with his friend for the first time to his academy. Bipin Pujara saw him playing and called his father and told him that Arpit has good talent of cricket. He then shifted to Arvind Pujara's camp at railway ground. And he saw a batsman in him and nurtured him to make a career in cricket.

Arpit’s dedication and devotion made him remarkable Cricketer. Arpit is Left handed batsman, mostly played at one down/two down. He is left hander spinner and has been, many times, useful bowler. He is very good fielder too. In 42 matches of Ranji Trophy multi days he played so far, he has scored 2196 runs with scoring 3 hundreds, 14 fifties and highest score of 205 runs.

Arpit has always played for Saurashtra team in all formats of Domestic Cricket under all age group. His experience of playing for Saurashtra Team has been quite satisfactory. Obviously, his special moment of Cricket has been when he was first selected for Ranji Team of Saurashtra. His 151 not out in RAnji Trophy Quarter final against Karnataka and 205 against Uttar Pradesh have been his most memorable innings so far.

Playing Cricket has not only helped him financially, but also to build up his career and personality. It has brought him sportsman spirit, commitment and discipline.

His most favourite cricketer has always been Rahul Dravid. Dravid is his Cricket idol and that surely reflects in his nature of game, patience, work ethics and his humbleness. Cricket has changed his life and nature in many ways.

He has always felt special moments while sharing dressing rooms with Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja and Jaydev Unadkat.

Like any Indian, he truly admire God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar. He was also a very big fan of Sourav Ganguly, Virat Kohli, AB De Villers and M S Dhoni. He has been well inspired by his team mate Cheteshwar Pujara by his dedication to Cricket, ethics and nature.

His mantra is hard work, be it Cricket or fitness. He gives equal importance on daily routine and disciplined diet.

Table tennis, chess and tennis are his other favourite games.

His hobbies are reading, music and watching movies. He listens music and watch movies for good relaxation.

His favourite movie has been Rang De Basanti. His favourite movie actors are Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan and Kangana Ranaut. His favourite songs are Aashayein and Yeh Hosla. His favourite singers are Arijit Singh and Sonu Nigam. And most favourite place is Goa.
