Match 01

West Zone Inter Association Under 14 tournament 2016-17 three days match being played between Saurashtra vs Mumbai being played at Saurashtra Cricket Association Ground No. 1.

Saurashtra continued their  first innings on overnight score of 72 for 6 having Karan Suchak and Nihal Choudhary not out on 15 and 17. Saurashtra scored 109 runs all out in 70.5 overs. Karan Suchak scored 33 runs. Khush Jain took 5 wickets in the inning.

Mumbai in their second innings scored 222 runs no loss in 55 overs. Vedprakash Jaiswal and Shubham Mishtri scored 104 and 109 and remained not out.

Match is drawn. Mumbai got 4 points on 1st innings lead of 439 runs.

Match 02

West Zone Inter Association Under 14 tournament 2016-17 three days match being played between Gujarat vs Maharashtra at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium Ground no. 2.

Maharashtra continued their first innings on 138 for 4 having Kaushal Tambe and Vicky Otswal not out on 43 and 3. Maharashtra scored 398 runs all out in 114.4 overs. Kaushal Tambe scored 203 runs in 312 balls with 23 fours. Vicky Otswal scored 52 runs.

Gujarat in second innings scored 112 runs for loss of 8 wickets. Princekumar Yadav scored 27 runs. Kushan Patel made 25 runs. Shubham Kharat took 4 wickets. Vicky Otswal took 3.

Match is drawn. Maharashtra got 4 points on first innings lead.


 Mumbai won the tournament and became champions of West Zone Inter Association Under 14 Tournament 2016-17.

 In his speech during presentation ceremony, Mr. Niranjan Shah, Chairman of National Cricket Academy congratulated the winning team. He heartily appreciated all those young cricketers who remarkably performed in this tournament. He added that such tournaments are the root of bringing up star cricketers of tomorrow. He appreciated and acknowledged efforts of coaches and team managers. He specially congratulated the wonder boy Musheer Khan of Mumbai who scored two double centuries in the tournament and also performed remarkably in bowling and fielding. Mr. Madhukar Worah presented the trophy to Aiyaz Khan, captain of Mumbai, the winning team of the tournament.  Musheer Khan was given special memento by Saurashtra Cricket Association.
